Introduction
With advances in semiconductor technology, wafer size is getting bigger while chip size is getting smaller. On the other hand, PCB is getting more complicated. Visual inspection of these PCB’s are harder and not able to achieve the requirement of fast judgment and uniformity.
Measurement of conducting wire line width on PCB is depending on skilled operator using microscope in the past. Measurement is not only slow but also tiring after long period of visual inspection, affecting the accuracy of circle center to line edge distance measurement .
TSSC’s line measurement utilizes camera as two eyes for computer to perform fully automatic analysis on PCB, which drastically reduced time and labor required for the inspection. This not only could replace the manual inspection flow at the present moment but also could provide solutions for gray scale and naked eyes could not resolve in the past. This could upgrade customer’s certification of the product.
